Opened in Febuary 2023, Six Clerks as it stands today is a far step away from its original use, once the site of the original Six Clerks’ Office between 1622 to 1778 within the old walls of the Law Society. Here the officers of the Court of Chancery would once come and ply their trade in the heart of legal London, and from where we have taken the name for our restaurant. Our menu takes its inspiration from flavours across the globe using seasonal British ingredients.
By following the the British seasonality calander where possible it has allowed us to keep our food sustainable, reduce our carbon footprint and minimilize our food waste. The highly trained kitchen brigade led by Executive Chef's Jon Simister and Sean Simmonds bring to life the wonderful flavours of fresh British ingredients using classical styles and ideas alongside modern twists; mirroring the restaurant and the building itself. Our wine list meanwhile has been carefully curated by Davy's Wine Merchants a family owned wine business since 1870, who have carefully selected a beautiful range of wines from New World to Old.
